POLLUTION BY BUTANE GAS

Currently the use of gases have caused great damage to the environment, chiefly the butane gas, the combustion of this gas emits large amount of carbon dioxide which favours the greenhouse effect and wear of the ozone layer.

The common causes are the excessive use of butane gas, dos example in the use of a stove and heater, also the gas leakers are causes by the breaking of tubes and it is extraction and production is cheapest than other alternatives.

The principal consequences are the damage to health by breathing it when there are leaks, in addition causes soil erosion causing infertility, also the damage to plants and animals.

The things we want know is the amount of butane consumed by a family in a week, and another thing is the amount of carbon dioxide emitted by gas consumption and finally how much butane gas is spent in a year.

The solution we considered to this problem, is to reduce gas consumption, using renewable energies to cook and bathing whit cold water.

In the world there are both international o national companies that help us to reduce the problem of gas emissions, for example:

1.    La Iniciativa Climatica de México (2013) Is located in Miguel Laurent 70, Tlacoquemecatl del Valle, 03200 Ciudad de México, CDMX. This company captures international and national funds for the development of studies, also carries out specific policies that contribute to the reduction of.

2.    Asociación Mexicana para la Conservación del Ambiente (OMCA, 2009) Is located in Playa de Carme, Quintana Roo.The company gives specialized training in environmental matters and sustainability, likewise it focuses on the prevention of greenhouse gas emissions.

3.    World Resources Institute (WRI, 1982)It’s location is 10 G street NE Suite 800. Washington, DC 20002, USA. The organization converts green ideas into actions, it also establishes link between the conservation of the environment and economic opportunities.

4.    Greenpeace (1971)It is located in Vancouver Canada. This company helps to protect and care for the environment, moreover carries out campaigns to reduce the problem of gas emissions.

5.    Montereal protocol (2000)It’s location is in Canada, Montereal. It reduces the destruction of the ozone layer thanks to the eradication of chlorofluorocarbons, on the other hand prevent the earth from cooling and therefore, contribute to global warming.

We as team also propose solutions of our environmental issue:

You must use green energies, you must use natural gas instead of butane gas and you could use the bike.

You could heat the water whit the sun, you might bath with cold water and you might become aware of the damage it causes.

You mustn’t burn firewood and you mustn’t use the stove in a controlled way.

Finally, we want to emphasize that it is important to be aware of the damage that butane gas emissions do to the environment since they can cause irreparable damage to the environment.
